Beverley Open Studios, now in its fifth year, is a much-loved annual event celebrating contemporary art and making in Beverley and the surrounding villages.

Across two weekends each October, participating artists open their studios and exhibition venues to the public. Visitors are invited to buy original artwork, gain insight into creative processes, and discover hidden creative spaces throughout the HU17 postcode.

What makes Open Studios special is its authenticity. You’re not just viewing finished work on a gallery wall, you’re stepping into the environments where ideas are formed, materials are tested, and artworks come to life.

We welcome artists and makers who live or have access to a studio or exhibition space within the HU17 postcode. Participants are expected to:

• Be present at their venue during opening hours

• Provide high-quality images and information for marketing

• Actively promote the event through their own networks

• Create a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors
